Canoa, Ecuador

Located on the northwestern coast of Ecuador, Canoa is a small fishing village with a modest tourism industry and nearby tropical jungle that features an incredibly diverse array of plants and wildlife. The Manabi province is host to several volunteer organizations and forestry projects including reserves and organic farms. When you’re not practicing yoga, surfing, horseback riding, or doing any number of exciting activities available in Canoa there's 10 miles of beach beach break to surf.

Surf Ecuador

An ideal beach break for folks learning to surf means warm tropical water to surf in, no rocks, no reef, no riptides, no sharks and 15 miles of abandoned beach break which means low competition for waves. This explains the friendly local's attitude towards foreign surfers and the willingness to share waves with a spirit of abundance.
